Today I saw something that offered 50 Feijoa recipes….Wooooo

As I really am in Pasta Frolla mode, I have used this wonderful sweet pastry once again…

Make the pastry….

Place the pastry into your moulds and then put the following filling into the cases.

Ricotta filling…..

300g ricotta

250g sour cream

1/4 cup of melted honey

1-2 tsp of nutmeg.

Place all ingredients, bar the nutmeg into a bowl and mix well.

Place into the pastry cases to 3/4 level and then place a halved fig into the case as well (see piccy).

Sprinkle nutmeg over the filling.

Bake at 180 celsius for 30-35 minutes until pastry is goldy brown on the outside.

And the Figs are lovely cooked in honey and ricotta spooned on them:)

I think it maybe times for figgy sticky buns or figgy jam…
