Easy Peasy, Tasty sensational, yum, yum, yum!!
What are you going to do????
MAKE THESE RIGHT NOW!!!
Pre heat the oven to 200 Celsius!!
What will you need?
100 g butter
130g castor sugar
2/3 rds cup milk
dash of vanilla or vanilla bean
2 cups of plain flour
1 tsp salt
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp mixed spice
FOR cinnamon sugar topping
3 Tbsp sugar
2 tsp cinnamon.
Cream butter and sugar until pale.
Add in egg and vanilla and combine well.
Add in dry ingredients, and a little milk at a time and quickly BUT gently combine.
DO NOT go to town and beat the crap out of it!!
Gently and a little!!
Combine sugar and cinnamon for topping together in a bowl.
Grease tins if need be or use non stick.
I have used oval tins but round muffin tins are fab, fab, fab too!! 🙂
Place about a TBSP of mix into the tins, then add in a good teaspoon of Nutella and then top off with just under a TBSP of mix again.
You want the tins to be 3/4 full.
Repeat until all the mix is gone:)
Sprinkle sugary mix on the top!
I did 12 ovals but in the normal sized muffin tins, maybe 16?
Pop in the oven for 10 minutes and then turn down to 175 and bake for another 15 minutes.
Remove when golden brown and cool slightly in pans and then turn out onto racks.
Best eaten anytime, warm, cold, all day!!
Warm with black, black coffee….SOOOOOOOO GOOOD!!!
